CrystalDiskInfo is a free Windows program that monitor health hard drives. Basic hard disk information is displayed, along with SMART values and disk temperature information. This software allows you to track the status of SMART compatible hard drives. Monitors the "health" of your disk and gives you an overall score. It also provides detailed information about your computer's hard drives (flash, serial number, standard interface, total duration, etc.). It also shows the characteristics of SMART self-test parameters (read errors, performance, spindle start/stop, seek time, number of start-stop cycles, errors and many other areas).

"Buffer size" is unknown.
The buffer size field allows a maximum of 32MB and is now deprecated.
"Turn rate" is unknown.
ATA8-ACS sets the rotation rate field. As a result, virtually no drives report spin rates.
There are no discs available.
Only IDE (Parallel ATA) and Serial ATA disks linked to an internal ATA controller are supported by CrystalDiskInfo (Chipset included). Part of USB hard drive is supported by Crystal disk info. RAID disks, as well as IDE (Parallel ATA) and Serial ATA disks attached to an external ATA controller, are not supported by CrystalDiskInfo.
