The PayPal for Android lets you send money to anyone in seconds. A new way to send money to your friends and pay for things.

More information on PayPal

The PayPal app for Android lets you send money to anyone in seconds. Users can send money to up to 100 different countries around the world. PayPal has over 17 million merchants and 254 million active consumer accounts. This makes using the PayPal app to make purchases or receive payments much easier for PayPal users.

You can track your balance and fund transfers 24/24 with the PayPal app. All of this is protected by a fingerprint scanner and two-factor authentication.

Setting up the PayPal app for Android

You must enter your name (including your legal first name), email address and phone number when creating a new account on the PayPal app for Android. You must also provide a mailing address. Before you can register, you will need to fill in nine boxes. Compared to Google Pay, these things can sometimes seem very hectic.

After that, you can link your Pay Pal account to a debit card, credit card, or bank account. Luckily, the app lets you take a picture of your card to make it easier to enter card numbers and expiration dates. There are two big buttons on the main app screen. One is for sending money, while the other is for requesting money.

To send money, press a button, choose a friend, enter the amount, choose a funding source (one of your debit cards, credit cards or bank accounts), include a note with your payment or your request, then tap Send Now. When using a credit card or debit card, you will be charged 2,9% + 30 cents.

Sending money to friends and family in the United States using your bank account or PayPal balance is completely free. Pay half the cost, send money as a gift to a loved one, or request money from a friend.

Want to send money to someone you don't know? You can send it with confidence if you use PayPal. Purchase protection can protect your qualified money sending transactions when choosing goods and services. So if something goes wrong, you can file a complaint with PayPal.
