The data used in the tests has a big impact on the compression ratio results. It compresses 30-70% better in 7z format than in zip format. Additionally, 7-Zip 64-bit compresses files at zip format 2-10% faster than most other zip-enabled apps.

What is Easy 7Zip and how does it work?
In a nutshell, Easy 7-Zip is a simplified version of 7Zip. Easy 7Zip was originally based on 7-Zip 9.20. I kept all the features of 7-Zip and added a few more to make the app more user-friendly. 7Zip has just upgraded to version 16.04. As a result, I moved the codes to the release.

Why did I create Easy 7Zip in the first place?
7 Zip is a fantastic free file archiver. I'm a big fan of the software. Many thanks to Igor Pavlov! However, after using 7 Zip regularly, I began to believe that the software could be improved. So, in my spare time, I got the source code of 7-Zip and researched and modified it to create Easy 7-Zip. I hope everyone finds the Easy 7 Zip beneficial.
What makes Easy 7Zip so much bigger than 7Zip?
EXE and DLL files are included in the Easy 7Zip package in x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) editions.
MS Visual C++ 6.0 was used to compile 7Zip. However, I used MS Visual C++ 2008 to compile Easy 7 Zip. The second produces a larger file than the first. I also enabled whole program optimization, which generates more efficient code, and tweaked Easy 7 Zip to improve speed rather than reduce size.
